幻想夜話：13

ふと偶然出会った映画に、思いがけないほどの強いショックを受ける･･･
そんな出来事はきっと誰しも一度は経験があるのではないでしょうか。

岩井俊二監督が気になって、偶然手に取ったレンタルDVDがCHARAと浅野忠信が出演する『PiCNiC』(1994）でした。シュールな映像もあって、みる人によっては拒否反応が出るかも知れない、そんなインパクトのある作品だと思います。

私は最後にCHARA演じるココが「あたしが死ねば、この世は終わるのよ。」と言って死んでしまうシーンが特に印象に残りました。超主観的な言葉ですが、ある意味正しいなと。

そんな出会いから書いたのが、この作品です。

森の番人が叫んでいるこんな夜は、
避けどころのない子羊みたいに不安でしょうがないから、

氷のように尖った切っ先が残された希望のようにも、
どうにだって僕には見える。

この世界は、僕の吐息で壊れてしまう。
塀の上では今夜も月が僕らに嫉妬しているに違いない。
かすみに消えた過去の道からは、あんなにたくさんの兵隊たちがやってくる。

だって、こんなのすべて虚構でしかないんだから。
君が好きで、僕がこんなになってしまったことだって、
すべてデタラメに決まってる。

ガラスの破片が道にいっぱい散らばって、歩く僕の足を喜んでいる。
